OKAY. Just so no one is confused by this costume, here's a link to what I'm cosplaying exactly: [link]
Now that you have a better idea of what the hell I'm wearing- The costume was made by me and Brian. I did the sewing, I sanded down the vinyl tubing so it looked frosted, he helped attach the clear vinyl tubing to my costume, and fed EL wire through the tubing. There were ...so many... wires.. /shudder
The fabric I used was lycra, same material the black zentai suit was made from. I bought the suit and altered it. A lot. The reason my bewbs may look like they're sagging, is because this fabric made sure it was gonna pull everything down! I attached bra straps to the top of my suit, and it still tried to sag. I just had to go with it. So please, disregard my grandma bewbs. If you can.
Needless to say, this costume looks pretty simple, but the tubing needed to be sewn with fishing line, and that made it painful. The sewing machine kept breaking on me, so stress was definitely there with this costume.
I made a backpack that has the Bonne family Crest on it- which holds all my inverters and wires, inside. Because of how HEAVY the inverters are, [when you have 5 of them], the backpack sagged. So sorry if you can't really see it very well. But it's there. I'll take a separate picture of it, so anyone who's interested, can see it. And yes, Servbot is on the way. He's almost done. Just have to finish the vacuum form table C:
Again, from my previous Tron Bonne pictures- the wig was made by That has not changed. Just the headband :>
FYI: when I took pictures with LJinto, I didn't have my glove. So... that's why there's only one picture with it. Sorry. It's what I get for forgetting it at home. [THANK YOU, BRIAN. <3]
The convention center that Youmacon was held- is FILLED with amazing areas for photoshoots. You and Hope should definitely consider making a trip up to Detroit next year for Youma. You two would LOVE it <3!
